As the "Resolution Pro" and as managing partner of Mattar, D’Agostino & Gottlieb, LLP, Krista Gottlieb has long recognized that the cost and time expenditure associated with litigation does not always serve the client’s best interests, nor does it meet their needs and preferences. Ms. Gottlieb constantly seeks new and creative ways to help parties resolve issues, problems and litigation quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. Appropriate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”), including mediation, arbitration, early case evaluation mechanisms and mini-trials, are some of the ways to accomplish that goal.

Gottlieb's extensive experience as a corporate and commercial litigator is the basis that enables her to quickly assimilate multiple, conflicting points of view of complex matters in mediation.  Combined with her extensive ADR training & mediator experience, this provides her with powerful tools, enabling her to efficiently move between all parties and counsel's points of view.  With a mediator's perspective, she can translate opposing views into a mutually acceptable outcome.  Gottlieb's mediation client base includes numerous Fortune 500 companies, often dealing with significant dollar value discussions and settlements.

In addition to being a dedicated “issue resolver,” Ms. Gottlieb has over 200 hours of formal ADR training and has served as an ADR trainer for lawyers and judges wishing to become mediators and arbitrators.

Krista Gottlieb is a member of our NY chapter, The New York Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators, the state's premier roster of attorney mediators and arbitrators and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals http://www.nymediators.org/profile.php?id=876060094 The NYAMA profile includes more specific local information, such as counties and regions served.
