Alberto Saravia (AS) is an experienced and independent full-time mediator based in Miami who concentrates his ADR practice in the resolution of commercial and business disputes, breach of contract, tort cases and negligence actions.

AS is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Civil Mediator and, in that capacity, serves clients throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach Counties, providing litigants with the opportunity to resolve their conflicts without judicial intervention.

As an Economist and seasoned Global Commercial Banker & Investment Banker, Securities Principal and Registered Broker Dealer, AS specializes in particular in the provision of mediation services in the following financial and business-specific areas: Banking; Financial Instruments; Investment Contracts, Securities and Clearing; International Trade; Mergers & Acquisitions; Real Estate; Insurance.

Other areas of expertise and cases concentration include but are not limited to mediation of: Debt Claims; Landlord / Tenant dispute cases; Commercial; Breaches of Contracts and of Fiduciary duties; Multi-Party Disputes; Partnership Disputes; Executive Disputes; Unfair Competition.

Face-to-Face mediation sessions have been AS’ practice norm and are preferable in helping people resolve cases, as settlement rates tend to be higher than distance mediation. Nevertheless, during this phase of the public health emergency, remote mediation by video (Zoom or Skype, etc.) and/or telephone conference is a pragmatic alternative towards problem solving, negotiating, and coming to a resolution.

Mr. Saravia provides cost-effective, neutral and quick dispute resolution services that are borne equally 50% by Plaintiff (s) and 50% by Defendant (s).

Additionally, Mr. Saravia has been approved by the Court Interpreter Certification Board as a Registered Spanish Interpreter for the Florida State Courts System.
