Over 25 years of litigation experience, both civil and criminal, in the areas of personal injury, products liability, probate, wills and estates, business disputes, commercial transactions, real estate, farm and ranch law, oil and gas, criminal law and dispute resolution/mediation.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Dec. 1987, and received my J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas in Dec. 1989.  Licensed to practice by the State Bar of Texas May 1990.  During my legal career, I have been involved in several hundred mediations as a litigant, and have successfully mediated, negotiated and resolved over 100 cases as a mediator.  I will travel to your office to conduct any mediation or settlement conference.
Serving Bexar, Wilson, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Frio, Bandera, Medina, Atascosa, Nueces, Jim Wells, Duval, Kleberg, Kenedy and Jim Hogg Counties, including the cities of:  San Antonio, Seguin, Kerrville, Hondo, Medina, Bandera, Pleasanton, New Braunfels, Jourdanton, Poteet, Pearsall, Marion Lockhart, Kenedy, Luling, Corpus Christi, Alice, San Diego and Kingsville Texas, and all parts in between!

My legal career, experience and qualifications bring a diverse, progressively responsible and wide range of practical tools that will lend itself to resolving your dispute in an efficient, timely manner.  In May 2009, I was appointed by the Duval County Commissioner’s Court to serve as a Board Member, At Large, for the proposed Duval County Groundwater Conservation District (DCGCD), which was created by the enabling legislation in Senate Bill No.: 1847 (Chapter 450, 79th Legislature, 2005) and as amended by House Bill No.: 2070 (Chapter 701, 80th Legislature, 2007).  I assisted in advocating for the creation of the District by representing the constituents during its passage at community meetings and forums prior to the creation of the District in the county’s election of July 25, 2009.  I was elected by the Board of Directors to serve as the District’s President, and continue to serve in that capacity to date.

The key to resolving any dispute is to develop open communication and dialog between the parties to arrive at a mutually acceptable outcome.
