Dr. Weiland received his MD from Stanford University Medical School and his JD from Stetson University College of Law with a special interest in medicine, the law and alternative dispute resolution. His impressive resume and training as an orthopedic spine surgeon allowed him to create and build Florida Spine Institute of Clearwater into a cutting edge full-service practice. Retiring from surgery due to a hand injury, he has enjoyed success as a real estate investor and developer for ambulatory surgery centers, office and retail centers and residential subdivisions. Utilizing analytical skills, empathy, a deep knowledge base, and an innovative approach, he has helped clients achieve satisfactory resolutions to complex problems throughout his career.
