For more than 20 years, clients have leaned on Felicia for her judgment, experience, and skill as a negotiator and advocate in complex civil and commercial disputes. Through the years, Felicia has been a trusted advisor in some of her clients’ toughest personal and professional times.

She has experience resolving disagreements both inside and outside of the courtroom for both plaintiffs and defendants – individuals and entrepreneurs, as well as privately-held and publicly-traded companies with local, national, and/or international teams and operations.

Over the years, Felicia has helped parties navigate complex legal and business problems in a wide range of industries involving a broad spectrum of claims  including contractual rights, partnership formation and duties, trade secrets, employment agreements, fraud, business disparagement and defamation, fiduciary duties, corporate governance, federal and state employment laws, lease agreements, negligence, personal injury and wrongful death claims, seismic exploration rights and other real property interests, and warranty claims.

Given the depth and breadth of Felicia’s experience, she appreciates the pressures, uncertainties, and demands lawyers and their clients deal with in conflict management and resolution. She understands the dynamics of negotiations between parties wanting to deescalate, avoid, or resolve conflict while also preserving and protecting litigation positions, should settlement negotiations fail.

This kind of understanding and experience proves relevant during mediated discussions with lawyers and their clients while they are considering, evaluating, and confidentially negotiating risk management and dispute resolution options.

This kind of understanding and experience also proves relevant as an arbitrator. Felicia is keenly aware of the importance of neutrality in arbitration and ensures all parties and their counsel trust that her neutrality, objectivity, and judgment are uncompromised.

As a neutral, Felicia accepts private engagements and court appointments, in addition to serving as a neutral through public and private panels.

In her spare time, through the years, Felicia remained active in the community too.  She has served as a member of the Steering Committee for Emerging Women Leaders through the Greater Houston Partnership, as an Advisory Board Member to Woodway Financial Advisors, Director for the Pearland Economic Development Corporation, Director for the Pearland Adult Reading Center, and is a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum. Additionally, Felicia served two elected terms as a Councilmember for the City of Pearland, and in 2009-2010, was Mayor Pro Tem.
