JUAN A. PYFROM is a graduate of Florida A & M University. Mr. Pyfrom earned his Juris Doctorate from the Stetson University College of Law. Prior to law school, Juan served nine years as a Combat Engineer on active duty in the United States Army where he attained the rank of Captain and commanded an Engineer Company during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. During the first Gulf War he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Meritorious Service Medal.
After the first Gulf War, he attended law school at Stetson Univ. College of Law, during which time he interned at the South Florida Water Management District, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in a private law firm specializing in Civil Rights and Labor & Employment Law. After a short while working in the private sector, Mr. Pyfrom heard the call to service once again.
In 1999 he was commissioned an officer in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As an Army JAG Officer, he served in multiple overseas assignments and represented a broad range of clients, including individual soldiers. He deployed four additional times in support of Operations Iraqi freedom and New Dawn. He also represented the U.S. Government in negotiations involving U.S. interests in Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, South Korea and Japan.
He recently retired from the active Army as a Colonel with more than 20 years of legal experience. He was trained as a mediator in the military and will bring that same kind of dedication to duty, discipline, focus and commitment to meeting your needs.
