Larry, since his Judicial Clerkship to the Honorable Elmo Holt, Superior Court, Atlanta Judicial Circuit in 1976 and 1977, has tried complex jury divorce cases, non-jury divorce cases, and custody cases. Larry has also represented numerous individuals in serious personal injury cases. Larry has successfully tried significant jury cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, brain damage, spinal cord injury, blindness, traumatic injury, and invasion of privacy. He has had successful jury verdicts in unique cases such as representing the plaintiff in an AIDS invasion of privacy case, and representing the plaintiff in a medical malpractice case concerning a patient who attempted suicide. Larry has also handled a wide variety of commercial litigation cases in his more than 35 years practicing law.Larry does not shy away from going head to head in litigation against the largest law firms.
Larry restricts the number of cases his practice accepts so that he can provide the utmost personal attention to each case. Larry’s focus from the moment he accepts your case is to prepare for trial, and at the same time to make diligent effort to reasonably settle the case with minimum expense and time to you.
Most divorce cases are referred to mediation. Larry is a Registered Neutral in General Mediation, Domestic Relations Mediation, and Arbitration with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. This approach has served his clients well in significant and complex cases.
