Mediation has become a effective way to settle the issues necessary to end a marriage and avoid the downside of litigation.  When a couple comes together, with the assistance of a mediator, to constructively negotiate issues that would otherwise be decided by a judge, the whole family benefits.

The process lessens the impact on children, the outcome is easier to bear, and the couple save time and money.  For those who are interested in the process of mediation, you may have some questions about the role of the mediator.  If you need an experienced mediator or an attorney to review your Separation Agreement or Settlement Agreement before you sign, contact Leslye M. Schlesinger.

She has served Rockland and Westchester County families for over 30 years. Her Mediation and Collaborative Divorce practice offer clients compassionate guidance with effective experience.
