Lorraine "Lorrie" Sherman has been a licensed practicing attorney since March 1999.  Lorrie obtained her Florida Supreme Court certification for family mediation in 2004 and received her Florida Supreme Court Certification for Circuit Civil Mediation in 2020.

Lorrie is a contract mediator with the Eighth Circuit and has conducted nearly 600 mediations family mediations.   She charges at a rate of $200 per hour, charges half time or $100 for travel, and will conduct mediations in person or by Zoom.

Lorrie's motto is solutions are only limited by your imagination.

I am a result oriented mediator with most of my professional experience in the area of family law.

Although I have litigated for the last 22 years and continue to litigate, mediation is where my heart is.

I take an active role in mediation as I enjoy problem solving, and I have a thick skin, so will never have hurt feelings!

Education

Lorraine H. Sherman Esq. graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in May 1998. During her last year of law school, she worked for a local family law attorney and as a research assistant for a human rights law professor.

Upon graduation and after receiving her law license, Ms. Sherman continued to work for a local family law attorney until she opened her own law office in September 1999.
