Lynn’s membership in the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals speaks to her utilizing a team approach, if possible, during her representation of matrimonial clients.  Her negotiating skills culminate in a marital agreement; pre-nuptial or post nuptial agreement. The Agreement can be achieved utilizing:

  • Collaborative Law
  • Mediation
  • Negotiation

The methodology is arrived at by discussing all options with the client.  Some situations require court intervention. Lynn’s experience includes:

  • Litigation of contested matrimonial matters
  • Proceedings involving support
  • Enforcement
  • Modification
  • Custody
  • Visitation and parental access
  • Grandparent rights
  • Paternity
  • Protective orders

I am well-versed in the traditional elements of matrimonial and family law as well as the emerging trends of alternative dispute resolution. The focus of my practice is to educate as well as to advocate.  I discuss the legal processes in detail so clients are able to assess their needs regarding:

Separation agreements
Divorce
Pre-nuptial agreements
Support
Post-nuptial agreements

I am a collaborative attorney and a mediator.  In the collaborative model, the attorney agrees not to litigate, but is a counselor explaining the law to clients.  It is the client who determines how to proceed.  I have negotiated countless agreements which have had positive outcomes.  However, I have also litigated matrimonial and family court matters.  Throughout my representation and counseling of clients, I am mindful and sensitive to the concerns of clients and families.
