Mediation is an opportunity for a conversation, a chance to communicate, a place where all parties can hear & be heard in a respectful manner. I try to create a space where participants can establish priorities as to their own needs, obtain insight as to others' perspectives, gain clarity, consider options. The conversation is open yet confidential, far-reaching yet focused. It can empower the participants and the people they care about.

Through the process of this conversation, parties may come to an agreement of how to proceed that resolves some or even all of their differences. Perhaps they will be able to craft a plan that allows all of them to move forward in a more positive and fulfilling way.

The potential is limitless. The process is worth a try.

I have training & experience in mediating various types of issues including family matters, workplace & EEO conflict, child welfare, workers' comp, personal injury, estate & probate, contract, & other civil matters in different jurisdictions in the greater DC area.

I would be honored to have a role in facilitating your conversation.
