Ted M. Felix, CPA, CFF, MBA, DABFA, CGMA, is a Senior Director in the Litigation and Corporate Financial Advisory Services Group at Marks Paneth LLP. Ted has more than twenty-five years experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has had a distinguished career in public accounting. He also held the position of Director of the Quality Control Review Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Mr. Felix has worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission as an expert. He also led an investigation conducted by the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. He has testified in matters such as Enron, Bennett Funding and the City of Newark v. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He has been involved in the dispute resolution process for more than twenty five years

For the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Felix completed a two-year term as a trustee, where he was charged with overseeing quality control, quality review, professional ethics and other technical activities, and a one-year term as a vice president. He has served as a member of the Quality Enhancement Committee of the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy as well as the Peer Review Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section and the SEC Practice Section Nominations Committee of the AICPA’s Division for CPA Firms. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Group of Accounting Firms and chaired its Continuing Professional Education Committee.

A frequent writer and speaker, Mr. Felix co-authored SEC Compliance – Financial Reporting and Forms, published by Warren Gorham & Lamont/Research Institute of America. He was an adjunct professor of accounting and auditing at both Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey.

In addition to his extensive professional involvement, Mr. Felix is a member of the Board of Governors of B’nai B’rith International Foundation of the United States and the chair of its Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Grandview Palace Yacht Club, where he overseas financial activities. An avid boater, he is the past Commander of the Northern New Jersey Squadron of the United States Power Squadrons. He divides his time between Marks Paneth's Manhattan headquarters and Miami.
