Friday, March, 21, 2014

A local nonprofit organization that currently provides mediation services to neighborhoods, courts, school districts, individuals and businesses has announced a mediation training seminar available to all residents of Essex County in the State of Massachusetts, USA.

The nonprofit, North Shore Community Mediation Center, provides free mediation services as an alternative to litigation for businesses and individuals as well as family mediation for those who cannot afford to pay for mediation services.  They are approved by the Massachusetts Trial Court and are a licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The training will be a 36-hour training course that is 100% compliant with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) Uniform Rules on Dispute Resolution and meets confidentiality requirements outlined in the Mass General Laws.  It is open to all residents but is limited to 20 participants.  North Shore Community Meditations Center suggests it is ideal for all professionals charged with dealing with groups, including managers, attorneys, mental health professionals, educators or community leaders and activists.

The training session will cost $595 if individuals register before May 1st, 2014, and $650 after May 1st.  The training will be held in Salem, Massachusetts, and CEUs and PDPs will be awarded upon completion of the program if requested.  For many, the training could be the beginning of a new career or simply a new skill added to a resume that strengthens their managerial experience and background.
