Glenn A. Ballard Jr. is a member of Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He is also the Managing Partner of the Houston office of Dentons.
Glenn joins Dentons following a notable career as a trial lawyer and Head of the Trial Section of an Am Law 100 firm. For more than 35 years he has handled complex commercial litigation as a first chair trial lawyer for Fortune 500 companies in a wide variety of industries including real estate, banking, technology and environmental. Glenn has tried more than 50 jury/bench trials and argued in more than half of the appellate courts in the State of Texas, as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit and the Eleventh Circuit. He has served as advisor to several publicly traded companies regarding the settlement or disposition of high dollar, high risk cases, and has also been recognized locally, nationally and internationally for his litigation and arbitration work. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers.
