Mediation Today owner Lilli Hutto provides workplace and EEO mediation services to Minneapolis, MN and Southeast Iowa.

Lilli Hutto is an experienced mediator specializing in the areas of discrimination, termination and demotion. Lilli was recruited in the early days of the REDRESS program for the United States Postal service. In 2011 she began mediating Postal Management claims as well. Additionally, she is a transformative mediator for the Transportation Security Administration and mediates initial complaints of discrimination.

Ms. Hutto has over 19 years experience mediating workplace conflict in addition to other areas of practice. Lilli was fortunate to mediate EEOC cases for the North Carolina District in the late 90s. Lilli has mediated a wide range of cases working with attorneys and union officials to resolve disputes early and satisfactorily.

Mission

Lilli strives to assist parties in their efforts to clarify and resolve complaints so that both sides have a better understanding of the situation and a clear choice of options for resolution.

Mediation

 Mediation is a conflict resolution process where parties in conflict come together with a mediator to discuss and often resolve the situation.

The mediator is important to the process because she does not take sides, is trained to listen carefully, and assist the conversation so that parties work out their own options.
