Tish Morrical's law practice focuses on Civil Litigation, Family Law, Mediation, Elder Law, Guardian ad Litem work, and Family Law Case Management. She is an mediator approved by the Kansas Supreme Court, and is often appointed to represent children in their parents' divorce case, as well as appointed by the Court to serve as a type of arbitrator in family law cases under the Kansas Case Management statute.
Tish was born in Norton, Kansas. She attended Bethany College and played intercollegiate basketball and softball. In 1990, she obtained her Bachelors Degree with majors in Social Work and Sociology, with a minor in Administration of Justice. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Tish worked for The Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services in the Adult Protective Services Unit and began her Master's program at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. She completed her dual Masters of Social Work and Juris Doctor Degrees from the University of Kansas in 1996. After graduation, Tish joined the law firm of Hampton & Royce, L.C. She became a partner in 2001.
Tish is actively involved in the legal and local communities. She is currently on the Board of Directors for Bethany Home in Lindsborg, Kansas. She coaches numerous youth basketball, volleyball and softball teams. She is the past President of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Kansas Bar Association. She serves as a Trustee for the Saline County Law Library and was president of the Saline-Ottawa County Bar Association in 2012, and was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Salina YWCA. She is an active member of the Falun-Salemsborg Lutheran Parish. She is the current President of the Family Law section of the Kansas Bar association.
Tish and her husband, Thad, are the parents of Hayley, Hannah , and T.J.
