Camille R. Martin, a native of St. Petersburg is the sole practitioner of the Law Office of Camille R. Martin, P.A. located in Deland, Florida. Since starting her own law practice in 2014, Camille has been committed to providing exemplary service in family law, personal injury and criminal defense. With over 15 years of legal experience, she is dedicated to addressing disparities in the legal system.
A former Assistant State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, she handled hundreds of cases in the felony, misdemeanor and juvenile divisions. This is where her advocacy for addressing disparities in the legal system was conceived. Martin has volunteered with numerous organizations with a focus on youth empowerment and education in the legal system. She has served as a mentor with the Volusia County school system. For the past 4 years, Martin has served as a coach for the Volusia County Teen Court Mock Trial team. In this capacity, she trains and prepares teens for statewide mock trial competitions.
She is also a member of the executive board of the Deland Chapter of NAACP. Martin is the Vice Chair of the St. Petersburg College MLK Day of Service Advisory Board in St. Petersburg, FL and also served as Project Coordinator. The MLK Day of Service Advisory Board is responsible for the allocation of funds appropriated by The Florida Legislature to promote volunteerism and community service.
Martin holds a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from the Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law. She was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2004 and the Florida Bar in 2005.
