Gwen M. Moore is an experienced Family Law attorney.  She concentrates her practice in the area of divorce, child custody, parenting time, adoption, child support, spousal support, mediation and collaborative law.

Gwen prioritizes being accessible to her clients and providing straight forward, practical advice to meet each client's unique circumstances.  She chooses to practice in the area of family law because of her desire to help people in a difficult period of their life.  She knows that going through a divorce is a very emotional and trying time.  Her goal is to guide her clients through the divorce process as efficiently and painlessly as possible, while protecting the children from the turmoil of divorce.  To that end, she has been trained in the use of mediation and collaborative law.  She has served as a court appointed child's attorney and has received extensive training in minimizing the impact of divorce on children.

Gwen was a former Deputy District Attorney in charge of the dependency and child support units in Lincoln County, Oregon.  In that capacity, Gwen has had extensive experience in dealing with children and families in crisis and has a solid understanding of how child support is calculated, possible rebuttals to include in the calculation, and child support modifications.

Helping people mediate family law cases in Central and Eastern Oregon

In mediating family law cases, we are skilled in working with couples;

-      within a non-adversarial environment

-      to reach a full, fair, and comprehensive agreement on all issues

Mediation can be done before any paperwork is filed with the Court or while the divorce process is pending.  The number and duration of mediation sessions will depend upon the complexity of your divorce and each party's level of cooperation.  We will establish an agreed upon schedule prior to starting the process.

Mediation can save time.  Unlike litigation, mediation completion is not determined or delayed by the scheduling constraints of the court system. Successful mediation means that you can avoid pre-trial conferences, judicial status conferences, court hearings and trial.
