About Jann Glasser
Jann Glaser is both a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed marriage and family therapist, plus she is a certified divorce coach and trained mediator. In over 30 years of clinical experience, Jann has assisted individuals, couples and families to cope with life’s most important challenges and conflicts. Often that includes the trauma of divorce. Ms. Glasser has helped guide her clients in their life transitions, and to reduce stress, chemical dependency, and domestic violence. As a highly recognized leader in divorce mediation and the collaborative divorce process, she adds keen insight to guide her clients into creating real possibilities for change. Jann is committed to helping divorcing families develop and maintain positive relationships as they transition to post-divorce. According to Jann, “Pain, anger and loss often remain unresolved in a divorce. My goal is to help you address these issues so you can develop healthy communication skills to resolve your unique issues of separation, and the custody and co-parenting of your children.” Jann is dedicated to helping you become your own best advisor. Ms. Glasser conducts mediations or acts as coach in the Collaborative Divorce process, each of which allows couples to maintain their dignity and respect for one another, while protecting their children from what could be the destructive effects of court combat.
Jann Glasser received her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from UC Berkeley, and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCLA, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Suma cum laude. Jann is a member of Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County, where she serves on the Board of Directors and as incoming President. Jann is also a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). She also is a delegate to California’s statewide organization of collaborative professionals (CPCAL). Jann is also a member of the National Association of Family Mediators, the Co-Director of Glasser Mediation Services, and holds membership in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. In connection with the University of Southern California, Jann Glasser has provided supervision for USC graduates in mental health needing clinical hours for licensure. In addition, Jann has served as an associate professor for UCI extension, teaching classes on relationships and communication skills.
